Handmade Burger - East Kilbride

Brown Studio has been entrusted with the task of designing all the new branches of Handmade Burger Co., ensuring that each location reflects the company's branding while incorporating unique elements that pay homage to the heritage of the area. For the East Kilbride project, Mayan Interiors was invited to contribute our sustainable contract furniture.

The Handmade Burger Co. restaurants are known for their industrial chic ambiance, and the East Kilbride branch, situated in the town's new leisure hub, is no exception. To create a more intimate atmosphere within the spacious venue, zoning techniques were employed, including distinct tiling patterns on the floor and the use of our brightly colored benches.

In this project, Mayan Interiors provided three different types of bench seating. At one end of the restaurant, back-to-back booth seating in royal blue faux leather was installed, offering a comfortable and private dining experience. On the opposite wall, benches in the same royal blue shade featured a square fluted back design, adding a touch of sophistication. Along the central aisle, vibrant yellow benches took center stage, adorned with floating button back seating and complemented by wooden toggles, creating a playful and lively seating area. Additionally, the space features our rustic oak table tops, adding a touch of natural warmth to the overall ambiance.

Mayan Interiors takes pride in our sustainable approach to contract furniture, ensuring that our contributions to the East Kilbride project align with the company's commitment to environmentally friendly practices. Through our collaboration with Brown Studio and Handmade Burger Co., we have successfully created a space that not only reflects the brand's identity but also captures the unique character of East Kilbride.
